A Transitional Recovery House for Adult Males
A New Way Recovery House is an unique transitional recovery residence for adult males at least 18 years of age who need additional support early in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
We provide a safe, comfortable and supportive environment in which individuals can transition from a life centered around using drugs and alcohol to a clean, healthy and productive lifestyle.
While most of our clients are referred directly from detox and longer term treatment settings, some are self or family referred or referred by probation or parole or other entities in the justice system.
We maintain relationships with professionals in numerous treatment and professional agencies and work
together with these agencies to provide a smooth transition for clients.
A New Way Recovery House is run by a team of individuals with over 100 years of collective experience with helping individuals with the recovery process. The team has decades of experience working in and around the addiction treatment industry.
The members of the team have dedicated a great portion of their lives to carrying the message of recovery to those stricken with this debilitating disease.
The team consists of two Directors, Gary and Jill Feldman and Co-owner Al Reisser.
Gary and Jill are responsible for the overall direction and vision of A New Way Recovery House as well as for the day to day direction and supervision of the House. Gary performs intakes, runs two groups a week including a house meeting and a recovery meeting, oversees clients work and personal schedules and more.

Our Philosophy is strongly based on The Twelve Steps and the basic guiding principles of Twelve Step Programs.
We teach that honesty, open-mindedness, willingness and responsibility are the keys to maintaining a positive and healthy, drug free lifestyle.
Residents are required to attend 5-7 meetings per week, obtain a sponsor and home group and demonstrate willingness to work on these ever important Twelve Step principles.
Residents are also required to secure and maintain gainful employment and start to work on repairing the damage that they have done to themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, legally, in their relationships and finances.
Our mission is to assist every client that walks through our doors to achieve and maintain a drug and alcohol free, responsible and productive lifestyle. It is our charge to assist clients not only while they are in our care but give them the tools and support necessary to maintain this lifestyle long after they leave our care.
